Gunman targets house

The owner of a house in south Belfast escaped injury after it was targeted in a gun attack early today.

Two shotgun blasts were aimed at the house in the Four Winds area at around 12.30am.

The shots were fired through an upstairs bedroom window and a downstairs living room window.

Detectives from Castlereagh have appealed to anyone with information or people in the area who may have noticed anything suspicious around the time of the attack to help their investigation.
