Environmental group angry at EPA appointment
Members of a Cork-based environmental group are questioning the appointment of one of the new directors on the board of the Environmental Protection Agency.
The Cork Harbour Alliance for a Safe Environment claims the appointment of Laura Burke is inappropriate because her work for Indaver Ireland on the Ringaskiddy incinerator project constitutes a conflict of interest.
