Greens: Nuclear power always a danger

The Green Party leader, Trevor Sargent, is rejecting reports that the Sellafield Nuclear Power Plant is not a threat to marine or human life.

He is reacting to claims made by the head of environmental management at Sellafield, Dr Rex Strong.

Mr Sargent says that nuclear power is always a danger and that "there is no safe level of radiation".
