Gardaí release name of man found dead

Gardaí have named the man whose body was discovered in a house in Dublin's Harold Cross yesterday as 39-year-old Timothy Keane.

Mr Keane, who lived alone on Harold's Cross Road, was a writer by profession.

His body was discovered by his landlord yesterday.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident continues, but it is believed that Mr Keane fell down a stairs and hit his head.
