Customs officers at Dublin Airport have arrested a Galway woman after seizing two kilograms of MDMA powder.

Customs officers at Dublin Airport have arrested a Galway woman after seizing two kilograms of MDMA powder.

The powder could have been used to manufacture 20,000 ecstasy tablets with a value of €200,000.

The 28-year old woman has been taken to Santry garda station for questioning.

The find was the result of an operation mounted to stop drugs from reaching the Oxegen rock festival in Punchestown.
