FG TD seeks campaign to prevent ‘back-street’ abortions

Fine Gael TD Olivia Mitchell has called for the establishment of an information campaign for immigrant women in an effort to prevent “back-street” abortions.

Reports this morning said Gardaí in Dublin were investigating two abortions carried out on a Romanian woman and a Filipina less than two months.
