Cork men plead not guilty to murder

Two Cork men have pleaded not guilty to the murder of a man in Cork city at the Central Criminal Court today.

Mr Keith O’Donovan (aged 31) of Spriggs Road, Gurranabraher, Cork and Mr James Hourigan (aged 34) of Harbour View Road, Knocknaheeny, Cork deny murdering Mr Noel McCarthy (aged 28) at his home on Spriggs Road, Gurranbraher, Cork on May 4, 2000.

A jury of six men and six women have been sworn in and will begin hearing evidence before Mr Justice Paul Butler tomorrow.
