A group of Co Limerick pilgrims whose flight from Lourdes was diverted from Shannon over the weekend due to the visit of US President George W Bush have expressed anger at their treatment.

The flight, which was carrying sick children and pensioners home from a trip to Lourdes, was diverted to Cork Airport due to security measures surrounding the Bush visit.
