The district leadership of the Orange Order in Portadown has held its first ever bilateral meeting with the Parades Commission.

The Order’s spokesman in Portadown, David Jones, confirmed yesterday the district officers had met the commission last week to put forward proposals relating to the annual Drumcree march.
