Gardaí have named the two men who died in a multiple-vehicle road accident outside Cork city yesterday morning.

Gardaí have named the two men who died in a multiple-vehicle road accident outside Cork city yesterday morning.

The victims were 30-year-old Kieran McMahon, from Clonlara, Co Clare, and 23-year-old Mark Burton, from Parteen, Co Limerick.

The accident involving a truck and two cars happened on the main Cork to Mallow road at around 9.50am yesterday.

Mr McMahon was the driver of one of the cars, while Mr Burton was his passenger.
