Rabbitte applauds Ahern for Euro deal

Labour leader Pat Rabbitte says he will be congratulating the Taoiseach for securing agreement on the contentious issue of the European constitution.

He says that while domestic affairs have suffered during the Irish presidency of the EU, last night's agreement is a major achievement for the Taoiseach and his team.
