Two arrested after Tipperary ecstasy seizure

Gardaí in Tipperary have arrested two men following an ecstasy seizure in the county early today.

The pair were arrested after several thousand ecstasy tablets were found in a car that was stopped and searched in Birdhill.

Gardaí said the drugs seized had a street value of €100,000.

One of those arrested is in his late teens, while the other is in his early 20s.
