McDaid out, Dana facing elimination in North-West

Fianna Fáil TD Jim McDaid has been eliminated from the European election in the North-West constituency.

Independent candidate Rosemary ‘Dana’ Scallon also looks set to lose her seat in the constituency as she is in fourth place after the third count and is unlikely to attract enough transfers to avoid being eliminated.
