Former Limerick councillor Michael Kelly dies in hospital

Former Limerick councillor Michael Kelly has died in hospital, four weeks after being shot in the head at his mother’s home in the city.

The 48-year-old had been in a coma since he was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head at the house in the Southill area on May 14.
