Battle on for final European seats

The European election results will not be known until 9pm today, when voting throughout the EU will be over.

In Dublin, tallies show that Fine Gael's Gay Mitchell will top the poll followed by Fianna Fáil's Eoin Ryan, while Labour's Ivana Bacik and sitting MEP Patricia McKenna of the Green Party are struggling.
