Close finish expected in North West

Six candidates are within two percentage points of each other for three European Parliament seats in the Ireland North West constituency.

They are Sean O'Neachtain and Jim McDaid of Fianna Fáil, Jim Higgins of Fine Gael, Pierce Doherty of Sinn Féin, independent Marian Harkin and outgoing MEP Dana Rosemary Scallon.
