INO to protest against delay in new Castlebar unit

The Irish Nurses Organisation is due to mount a demonstration at Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar tonight to protest against the delay in opening a new specialist unit at the hospital.

The INO said the €10m orthopaedic unit was due to open on July 1, but this had been delayed due to staffing problems.
