Gardaí seize €1.7m drugs in Cork

The combined work of 40 gardaí in Cork city and west Cork led to a drugs haul worth almost €2m, and the arrest of two suspected drugs couriers, according to the Evening Echo today.

At around 5pm last night gardaí moved in on an empty stationary car in Clonakilty. In the boot they discovered 100 1kg squares of packed cannabis resin, with a street value of €1m.
