McCreevy chairs finance ministers meeting

Finance Minister Charlie McCreevy has chaired a meeting of EU finance ministers to co-ordinate their response to surging oil prices today.

At their two-day meeting in Luxembourg, finance ministers warned of “the risks to the international recovery posed by the oil price situation” and agreed to press OPEC to raise production.
