House prices rose 3.3% in first quarter of 2004: Index
Average house prices in Ireland increased by 3.3% in the first quarter of this year, according to the latest Permanent-TSB house price index.
The financial institution said this was slightly less than the 4% increase recorded in the same period last year.
Permanent-TSB said the annual increase in the 12 months to the end of April was 12.9%, bringing average house prices to almost €242,000.
It said the average cost of a house in Dublin was around €316,500, compared to almost €212,000 outside the capital.
