Addict jailed after knife attack

A drug addict who slashed a man eight times with a knife after breaking into his house in Swords has been jailed for seven years by Judge Michael White at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Mark Harris (aged 27) from Turnapin Cottages, Cloghran pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary and assault causing harm to Mr James Cowley on September 2, 2003.
