A 64 year-old Monaghan farmer has died after being gored by a bull.

A 64 year-old Monaghan farmer has died after being gored by a bull.

The incident occurred on the man's farm at Lisanisk, near Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan.

It appears that the animal attacked the man as he was moving cattle nearby.
