The Government is doing nothing to prevent a rise in the number of homeless people living in Dublin, it was claimed today.

Mary Lou McDonald, a Sinn Féin candidate in the European Elections, said the annual report of the Dublin Simon Community showed that not one homeless person helped by the charity was housed by the city’s local authorities.
