SF says rivals have 'uncritical' attitude on EU

Sinn Féin's election candidate in the North West constituency accused rival parties today of adopting an uncritical attitude to the EU.

Pearse Doherty said Sinn Féin was for engagement with the EU but “unlike other establishment parties in this state, we will not adopt a wholly uncritical attitude to any and all developments in the EU, regardless of their impact on Ireland.”
