Drugs, cash and ammunition seized in Limerick
Gardaí investigating serious crime in Limerick have recovered quantities of ammunition, drugs and cash.
Local gardaí, in conjunction with the National Bureau Of Criminal Investigation, the Garda Air Support Unit and the Garda Dog Unit searched a number of houses and open ground in the Clonlong, O'Malley Park and the Old Cork Road areas.
They discovered 270 ammunition cartridges, cannabis with a street value €1,500, a white powder substance which has not yet been identified, and €8,000 in cash, as well as a number of other items.
Three men have been arrested and are being detained at separate garda stations in Limerick.
