One of Belfast’s most famous birds – a giant flightless Cormorant – has disappeared, it was revealed today.

One of Belfast’s most famous birds – a giant flightless Cormorant – has disappeared, it was revealed today.

The bird, a three-foot high painted steel sculpture, has been stolen from its perch on top of a tree trunk at Barnett Demesne in south Belfast.
