The European Union’s counter-terrorism chief has revealed that he and his officials are drawing up a plan to prevent any potential terror attacks in Europe.

Speaking at a conference in Dublin Castle, Gijs de Vries said no country in the EU was immune from a possible attack.

Mr de Vries was appointed as EU counter-terrorism chief following the Madrid bombings on March 11.
