BUPA: Conference move not due to smoking ban

International healthcare group BUPA tonight claimed a major conference was not moved outside of Ireland because of the recent smoking ban.

BUPA Ireland claimed the conference was being held in Britain for a further year because of logistical reasons and not because delegates and guests would be forced to smoke outside.
