Beverley Flynn is facing further court action, according to reports.

According to a report in today’s Sunday Independent, a number of civil actions have been brought against Ms Flynn and her former employer, National Irish Bank, by customers who availed of its off-shore services.

The High Court action claims that one customer was told there would be no tax implications on an investment.

In her defence papers, the former Fianna Fáil deputy denied the charges. She said the customer was the author of her own downfall and should have obtained independent tax advice.
