Govt ‘considering renewal of McCabe commitment’

The Government is reportedly considering renewing its commitment not to release the killers of Garda Jerry McCabe before they have served their full sentences.

Reports this morning said the GRA had requested that the commitment be renewed during a meeting yesterday with Justice Minister Michael McDowell.
