Man dies after car accident in Donegal

A 20-year-old man has died after the car he was travelling in left the road and crashed into Lough Salt in Co Donegal this morning.

The accident happened at Barnes Lower, on the road between Carrigart and Kilmacrennan, at around 9am.

A second man was also hurt in the accident, though his injuries are not believed to be serious.

Gardaí are withholding the dead man’s name until all next of kin are informed.
