Brennan goes west along the road

Transport Minister Seamus Brennan has officially opened two new roadways in the west of Ireland.

The roads are the new route from Scramoge to Cloonmore on the N5 between Longford and Strokestown, and the Rockingham to Cortober scheme on the N4 between Boyle and Carrick-on-Shannon.

Mr Brennan said the schemes would add greatly to the upgrading of the roads network in the border, midlands and western region.
