Two men hospitalised after NI violence

A man is in hospital after he was hit on the head and face with bottles during an assault in Co Down.

He was attacked by two teenagers as he walked along Mary St in Crossgar at around 1am today. He is being treated in hospital for his injuries.

In Co Antrim, a man is recovering in hospital following a stabbing in Co Antrim.

Police say he was injured during an argument with another man in a Chinese takeaway at Main St in Portglenone at around 1.40am today. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
