Colombia Three will have to await outcome of appeal
Colombia's Attorney General has filed an appeal against last month's acquittal of three Irishmen who had been accused of teaching bomb-making to the Marxist FARC rebels.
Jim Monaghan, Niall Connolly and Martin McCauley, all of whom deny their links to the IRA, can not leave Colombia until the appeals process is over.
However, the three are refusing to leave the jail in Bogota where they're being kept until the government provides them with protection.
