Father Niall O'Brien buried today

The funeral of an Irish Columban missionary who was imprisoned on a false murder charge 20 years ago in the Philippines took place today.

Father Niall O’Brien died aged 64 in Italy last week and had been a campaigner against social injustice in the Philippines during the Marcos regime.
