ESB workers vote in favour of strike

Workers at ESB have voted in favour of industrial action in pursuit of a 20% stake in the company and an 18.5% pay rise.

However, the unions representing the workers are expected to defer a decision on whether or not to engage in any strike action for at least two weeks.
