Judge Curtin contacts Government

The Circuit Court judge who was controversially acquitted on child pornography charges has made contact with the Government, it emerged tonight.

As ministers faced demands to decide his future at a meeting in Dublin tomorrow, it was confirmed they had received a communication from Judge Brian Curtin.
