Couple held in Athlone after drugs seizure

Gardaí have arrested a married couple in Athlone after the discovery of drugs with an estimated street value of €30,000.

The Longford and Westmeath divisional drugs unit seized approximately five ounces of cocaine and up to 2,000 ecstasy tablets after a raid on a house in the town last night.
