Body of a man found in Co Laois

Gardaí in Co Laois are investigating the discovery of a man's body earlier today.

The 25-year-old man was found dead in his flat on Main Street, Abbeyleix at around 8.30am.

The scene is being preserved for technical examination, and a post mortem is due to be carried out this evening.
