Police in the North have launched a murder inquiry following the death of an Asian man who was assaulted in Co Tyrone over the weekend.

Police in the North have launched a murder inquiry following the death of an Asian man who was assaulted in Co Tyrone over the weekend.

The victim suffered serious head injuries in the assault in Cookstown on Saturday and died yesterday in hospital.
