Six hospitalised after airport mercury spill

Six workers at Belfast City Airport were taken to hospital for check-ups this morning following a mercury spillage at the airport.

The spillage was discovered by baggage-handlers as passengers left a flight that had arrived from Birmingham just after 8am.
