Army and hospitals 'on full alert' for EU summit

The Army and Dublin’s hospitals have reportedly been ordered to be on full alert for next weekend’s summit of EU leaders.

Reports this morning said naval vessels would be patrolling Dublin Bay during the May 1 summit, while the Army’s chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear unit will also be deployed in the city.
