Gangland murder probe continues

A postmortem is being carried out today on the body of a 24-year-old man shot dead in a gangland style attack in west Dublin yesterday.

Jonathan O’Reilly of St. Mark’s Gardens, Clondalkin was shot twice as he sat in a parked BMW outside Cloverhill Prison.

Two masked gunmen pulled up and shot him twice, fatally wounding him in the neck and chest.

The gunman was a pillion passenger on a motorbike. Two other men who were in the car at the time of the shooting, but escaped uninjured.
