Residents at centre of uranium scare to undergo further tests

Almost 50 people from the Baltinglass area of Co Wicklow who were screened following the discovery of uranium in their drinking water last year have reportedly been recalled for further tests.

Reports this morning said the recall was ordered after a small number of those screened last year were found to have a "relatively unusual renal disease".
