The British government has announced its intention to publish the Independent Monitoring Commission’s first report next Tuesday.

The report was presented to the Irish and British governments yesterday. It was compiled earlier than planned at the request of the two governments following allegations of Provisional IRA involvement in the attempted abduction of a dissident republican in Belfast in February.
