Barristers receive majority of Tribunal’s costs

Barristers have reportedly received the vast majority of the €12m cost of the Mahon Tribunal over the past two years.

Reports this morning said figures obtained under the Freedom of Information Act showed that barristers had received €7.2m in fees from the tribunal in 2002 and 2003.
