Gardaí name Kildare road crash victim

Gardaí have named the man who was killed in a road accident in Co Kildare over the weekend.

He was 79-year-old John Kearns of Hillcrest, Ballymore Eustace.

He died when his car struck a tree at Gowran Grange, Demense in Naas, at 3pm on Sunday.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
