The body of a man discovered last night in Galway has been removed from the woodlands where he was found in Clarenbridge.

The body of a man discovered last night in Galway has been removed from the woodlands where he was found in Clarenbridge.

The discovery was made by a passer-by while out walking at around 8pm yesterday. State pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy carried out a technical examination of the scene.

The body has been removed to the University College Hospital in Galway, where a post mortem will be carried out.
