Drivers are warned to slow down

Gridlock is predicted on the nation's roads this evening as Easter holidaymakers make their way home.

Thousands have taken a break for the long weekend and drivers are being warned to leave plenty of time for their return journeys.

Three people have died in road accidents in Counties Cork, Kildare and Clare since Good Friday.
