Limerick teenager shot twice

Gardaí in Limerick are hunting two men who attacked at teenager with a sawn-off shotgun in Moyross early this morning.

The pair approached the 17-year-old at Craeval Park, shortly after midnight, and shot him twice in the shoulder.

He is being treated at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital, where his injuries are described as serious.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
